El nido palawan

Palawan is a solo and DIY friendly destination. The three most popular destinations in Palawan are Puerto Princesa, Coron and El Nido. A few years ago I went to Puerto Princesa with my friends but this time I visited El Nido Palawan on my own. I traveled during (US) thanks giving weekend, so I only had 4 days to explore the beautiful town of El Nido. A storm passed through Palawan when I visited, thankfully the weather was fine on my second day in El Nido.

Puerto Princesa Airport

I arrived in Puerto Princesa airport early morning and waited for a van transfer I booked going to El Nido. The travel time is almost 6 hours and there a few stops along the way.  My next post will provide more details about the town of El Nido and the different tourist attractions. Below is a sample itinerary and budget you can reference for your trip.
